tettering between sanity and insanity

"The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four people is suffering from a mental illness. Look at your 3 best friends. If they're ok, then it's you"

The Tour

I was aroused from my sleep by an uneasy feeling of being watched. As I opened my eyes, to my amazement, there was a gentleman standing in my bedroom staring at me. I nearly pissed on myself as I was jumping out of bed and wondering how I was going to defend myself.

Tour Guide: Sir we don’t have much time can you please get dressed?

I froze and thought to myself “I have a fucking madman standing in my bedroom and he is dressed like a butler”.  Not much time for what and were the hell am I going? I asked.

Tour Guide: All will be reveled soon.

I don’t know which one is the bloody crazy one here, me, for following or the crazy guy in the butler outfit. My curiosity got the best of me and I had to follow. Maybe this was nothing but a crazy dream brought on by the anchovies. I stopped at the doorway that separated my bedroom and the living room.

Tour Guide: Come in please.

Hesitantly I walked into what I thought was my living room but something was different. I really couldn’t put my finger upon it. It was an eerie feeling that came over me, like, I wasn’t where I was a few minutes ago.

It’s a little dark in here,” I shouted”.

Tour guide: Sorry, let me light a candle for you. I sometimes forget that I am used to the darkness.

It took a few minutes for my eyes to adjust to the dim lighting but I could tell I was not in my living room. The walls had an odd texture to it and I could make out a long corridor that seemed to go on forever. I really didn’t like this dream so far and I wondered how I could wake the hell up.

Where am I and where are we going, “I asked”.

Tour Guide: We are in your mind and as far as where we are going, well, that is up to you. Shall we go?

As we started to walk down the dark corridor I could have sworn I saw a slight grin on his face

So many definitions for love. Is it any wonder that the word has lost it's meaning among couples. We use the word to describe so many things...I love peanuts, I love chocolate and so forth. Can you really love peanuts or chocolate or do you really like them. We have desensitize it to the point that it has become just  "a word". When you say "I love you" to your wife, husband and so forth it should be something and not just a "word" that you are used to saying to them. This is just my thoughts on it...maybe I am wrong...then again...maybe not.
